This is a post-masters state license credential degree in mental health. It requires 1,500 hours in the field working with patients who suffer from mental health problems: chemical dependency, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, sex addiction as well as behavioral problems. Those hours are supervised by a trained certified clinician. This license takes a minimum of 2 years to complete as no more than 750 hours may be completed in one year.

He is licensed by the state of Florida to diagnose and assess whether the patient has mental health issues and or drug, alcohol, sex or behavioral addictions.
